I'm surprised that this wasn't touched upon, but the 'master control' room that the Monarch was in looked like the 'push the button' room on Lost, right down to the hexagonal ceiling and air ducts.

Yeah it was a Lost reference for sure. Both Jackson & Doc are pretty big Lost fans (and have referenced it at least once before) so it makes sense.
