Okay, but who's the lady who gave Dean the job and how'd he get it? I'm not so clear on that... Did Prof. Impossible fire all of his employees now that the Revenge Society is getting started up? That's the closest to a conclusion i could draw there. But then still, how did Dean get the job without anyone at Impossible Industries talking to his dad or Prof. I about it?

The way I understood it was everybody quit when Richard went all evil and hiring Dean was a final screw you.

i understood it that when Dean asked the lady about his dad "Dr. Venture" she said she'd never heard of him because she had probably never heard of him, likely because Rusty never achieves anything. Kind of like the "I thought she meant your brother" thing.
