After watching Orb and the 2 part season finale of the 3rd season, I've noticed that- 1- the remote to detonate the bomb that killed 24 was left in the throne room by Sheila when she left to go outside to be with the Monarch; 2- The explosives do not detonate until Brock starts walking towards the Monarch's car; 3- after watching Return to Malice a couple of times, the person that checked off the Ventures on Gary's suspect list had his full gear on, where as Gary now wears his uniform without its sleeves.
That leads me to believe that someone (or something) in the Cocoon detonated the explosives that killed 24 and put Brock in the OSI recovery room, but who could it have been? The Monarchâ€™s neighbor? Suicide? Happenstance? The Blackhearts? OSI? 24 himself? Who pressed the button? Anyways â€“ revenge seems to be one of the recurring motives for someone to arch another in the VB series, so maybe Gary will continue on with his list of suspects and finds the true killer of his friend.
