Two "bloop" singles? I don't really understand but if bloop is meant to denote a bad episode then you're crazy! So far all four have been excellent in my estimation, each offering something different from the Venture grab-bag:

Heart of Steel - tons of questions from the end of season 3 answered, more questions posed, ingenious narrative structure that seems way more complicated than it really is.

Handsome Ransom - a barrage of classic comic book satire and implied pedophile/MJ jokes, vintage Monarch

Perchance to Dean - classic Hank and Dean (and Dermot) episode, rife with detailed nerdy inside jokes and references (this time revolving around prog rock)

Return to Malice - great Monarch/Dr. G. material, gaps filled in pertaining to 21, a lot of character development and the great dialogue moments we have come to expect from Mr. Hammer

So far, episode for episode, this is the strongest season yet (in my opinion, of course) and I can't wait to see what's next! With less of an obvious story arc (at least until we get back to Brock) it seems as if Doc and Jackson have given themselves a bit more flexibility and freedom in where they can go. This is great because it leaves us not knowing what to expect next and we're not disappointed when next weeks episodes jumps around the timeline or fails to tie up story strands started in the previous ep.
The best bit by far was the opening in which the henchmen (86 and 87) are arguing about Champ vs. Nessie (in an obvious homage to 21 and 24s season one debates regarding Smurfs, Lizzy Borden and Anne Frank). I was seriously dying!
Also, it's only creepy to be turned on by Dr. Girlfriend when you know that Doc does her voice (particularly after seeing him in her outfit on the season 1 DVD extras). That said, she's obviously hot!
