Just two things of interest for now.

This episode is only the second time Dr. Venture has referred to The Monarch by name, the other being Are You There God, It's Me Dean.

And no one mentioned that Captain Sunshine's sunshine powers are kinda like Birdman's ray's that project from his fists.

I think Space Ghost's powers also project from his wrists. It's not that uncommon actually.

Ah yes, but Birdman can only use his powers when exposed to sunlight, Birdman is where my mind went first when I saw him use his powers like that.

I think Birdman just had to recharge frequently. It's not like you shut the blinds and he's powerless, but it seemed like he only got a few shots from his rays before he ran out of juice.

The Birdman analogy is perfect, though, in that he was cornered by the bad guy, seemingly in an impossible situation, and then miraculously got recharged. I think that happened in every single Birdman episode.
