I am becoming more and more excited for season 4. I didn't enjoy season 3 very well the first time through, though I enjoy it much more on DVD. Still, I honestly felt season 3 had some pretty big issues, and it sounds like Jackson and Doc are taking 4 in the right direction.
Oh, and: I'm sure that if they make a live-action movie, they will make it fucking awesome. I (and everyone else, I imagine) would prefer an animated one, but I don't know how likely that is, especially since it would more likely have to tie into established continuity, which isn't very viable from a marketing standpoint. Comma.
