Colonel Venture may be a common ancestor (Great Grandfather) perhaps, but I doubt they're anymore closely releated than that. On the other hand, old Jonas was a bit of a swinger who got around, so who knows. Maybe the man killed in the plane crash in the NJ Pine Barrens wasn't the Monarch's real father? His mother may have had an affair. Okay, now that I think about it, rule number one of this show is, "Never rule ANYTHING out!"
