I for one am glad that Doc was able to stand up and say what we were all thinking: Oscar Wilde isn't all that great. It does me proud to know someone isn't afraid to stand up to Big Oscar.
A few more thoughts: these commentaries, I think, are video of the audio commentaries that'll be on the DVD. Also, I am amazed at how they predicted so many of our comments. The commentary was recorded before the premiere party and yet they knew.
Oh, also I've been away the last few days. Good to be back.

I don't think these are the same commentaries we'll get on the DVD. For starters you'll notice that Jackson stops the episode so that they can speak without the episode continuing. On an audio commentary, normally, the episode and audio run concurrently.

More likely these were shot specifically to serve as Adult Swim exclusives, which happened with a few other shows as well.

Also, on the livejournal Jackson mentioned that the would be recording the commentaries soon...but THESE specific ones were obviously recorded already. Leads me to believe they'll be separate.

As always, though, we'll see!

Aw, come on. I like Oscar Wilde. I don't think he invented cool. But I like his work. I could give two shits if he wasn't the first person to start immersing himself in popular culture and shopping. The Picture of Dorian Gray is a damn fine book. And The Importance of Being Earnest is a classic. A CLASSIC. Bah.

I agree. I like him too, just being sarcastic. Like Doc said, people don't really know Oscar Wilde so I thought it was funny for him to be taking a stance.
