Brainulo said he wanted revenge on Dr Venture for stranding him "here in the year 19_9."

Rusty's 43 (as am i), which make him born in 1965. since it cannot be 1959 (because Rusty is already there), and it's unlikely that it's 1979 (because Rusty looks close to 4 than 14), i believe these past events take place in 1969.

however, this IS the Venture Bros, and all sorts of weird SuperScience goes on, so it's just as likely that Rusty is any age and these events could have happened during one of the seemingly common temporal fugues that go on frequently.

Comic time is odd. More likely it is 1967-9 and Branulo has been stuck in the past for 10 years. The Original Team Venture is talking about JFK and the Rat Pack for goodness sake.

For Rusty and Action Johnny to be who they are means they were born between 1955 - 1958. We shouldn't pick nits.
