The Moppets (er, Pupae Twins) keep getting creepier with regards to their sexual obsession with Dr. Mrs. The Monarch.
Was she nervous about commanding the Cocoon on her own? Seemed like she needed some inner build up before she could sit down and command everything.
It sounds stupid, but I'm actually a little sad that Dr. Dugong is dead. Maybe because he seems to have had more lines than other characters who really die? Or maybe because there will be no one to look after his cuttlefish.

The Monarch doesn't actually have much if any lethal weaponry; tranquilizer dart guns? I mean come on.
So he uses this thing that looks just like a DRAGON anti-tank missile. That bulbous thingie on the business end of it is (I happen to know, having handled an actual DRAGON) is styrofoam. What if it is actually a nerf missile, hmmmm?
