anyone notice that the way PL and Shela where talking.. the way that there conversation ended implide that they where talking about something else, but you can almost be sure that they weren't having an affair, or She would have been surpised when PL showed his legs in shadowman 9.
could it be as simple as casual flirting? probably... just thought I'd put it out there, and the comment is already finished, might as well post it

Yeah. It suggests they weren't quite together at this point (since she hadn't seen the Limb's invisible meat before the flashback in Shadowman 9). It's clear that the events of the flashback in Shadowman 9 take place after this scene from The Invisible Hand of Fate, since by that point Phantom Limb has his invisible body parts.

Okay, here's a weird question. During the second meeting with Billy, Hunter says that the spy business is all about "cheating," and then calls Billy "Woyczek," or some alteration of it (perhaps "Boyczek"). Maybe this is a little too off the wall, but do you think Jackson and Doc are referencing Herzog's eponymous film? After all, the whole point of the play/film is adultery (AKA "cheating).

I doubt it. He said "boychik" or "boychick" which is Yiddish for boy or young man: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/boychik

Plus, Sheila has to have time to radically change her hair and fashion sense. I also get the distinct impression that Professor Phantomas is just enough of a stickler for following the rules that he wouldn't date Sheila until after she was no longer a student. Plus it would be funny if there really was a Guild of Collegiate Investors, and Brock and Gathers were completely wrong about Professor Phantomas, but their bumbling introduced Billy to Phantomas at just the right moment to accidentally create the supervillain Phantom Limb, who then discovers and joins the Guild of Calamitous Intent, dates Sheila, and introduces her to the Guilt of Calamitous Intent as well.

I'm not saying that that wouldn't be so awesome, but they did have the guild rings and sgt. Haine (aka sgt. Hatred) had one too, and what are the chances of both of them being first in the Guild of Collegiate Investors and then in the Guild of Calamitous Intent

First, he had cuff links, not a ring; second, unlike Haine, he was displaying them openly, not hiding them, suggesting that he doesn't know their real meaning. If the Guild at that time was hiding from view, its members would not be openly showing signs of their membership. As someone else has mentioned earlier in this thread, if Professor Phantamos was descended from the family of the French supervillain of the same name, and the Guild has been around since 1910, he could very well have inherited the cuff links as family heirlooms without understanding their full meaning and/or without being a paid up member of the Guild at that time.
