Well my answers to the quiz were as shown:

1. 2 (Powerless in the face of death, Hate Floats)

2. Dana Snyder voiced Pres. Breyer

3. Unless it was hidden in some scenes, it was 3 (Powerless in the face of death, Love-Bheits, Vector. Echo. November.)

4. Tigerriffic

5. Captain Sunshine

6.Magneto's

7. Unless, again, he was snuck into some others, he was only in 2 (the Showdown episodes)

8.This was tough. at first I said Peter Parker, but Batman was being parodied this season not necessarily Bruce. Dean, however, IS a parody of Peter, so the answer is Bruce Wayne.

9. Dr. Billy Quizboy and Phantom Limb (V.E.N.)

10. Donald Rumsfeld

11.NY Jets (as seen in 20 years to Midnight)

12.I actually counted and while I lost count I did note that Hank died more times. Hank thirteen, Dean twelve (even though brock said fourteen).

13. Telltale Heart

14. All of them seem like good answers, but Doc and Jackson both have said that JT comes straight from dudes in NYC.

15. Roy Brisby

I believe I'm 100% correct, but maybe not. Post your answers and we can compare.

Actually, for question 8: Nick Fury was not parodied (and if he was, it was poorly done). Because if you say Peter Parker was parodied via Dean's PJs, then the rule would also apply to Bruce Wayne via hank's outfit. If you justify that it wasn't Bruce Wayne, but Batman, then the same would apply to Peter Parker and Spider-man. Sorry, I'm a bit anal about that. lol. Also, on question 12, They died an equal amount of times (remember the Dia de los Muertos flashback!). Sorry, if I'm wrong, but I believe I'm not. Maybe I'm just being A HUMORLESS DICK!

Sorry bro, but Nick Fury was easily Col. Hunter Gathers (especially since the OSA suits are exactly like SHIELDs) along with Hunter S. Thompson. as for the peter parker, I say he's parodied by Dean's personality (you can Wiki it too). as for the death scene stuff, I thought I got to eleven Dean and 12 with Hank before the Viva los muertos episode, but that one I'm only 75% sure on. the other's I'm positive.

Sooooo basically your telling me question 8 is a trick question...?! I think the Hunter Gathers/Nick Fury parallel is incoherent and imprecise. I think Doc and Jackson would agree. He looked and acted nothing like Nick Fury. No eye patch. No howling commandos. No swoleness. If it was a parody, it was weak and not very obvious. The fact that OSI Agents dressed like members of SHIELD only parodies SHIELD, not necessarily Nick Fury. And about Dean dressing like Peter Parker (or Spider-man): DUH!!! Same with Hank and Bruce Wayne/Batman. Dr. Impossible is an obvious parody of Mr. Fantastic. I think the quiz was im-pass-ible due to to objective nature of the series. Oh, and the David Bowie question is a trick one: David Bowie was the Sovereign, remember, so count that episode, too (Fallen Arches). Who ever made this quiz needs to redo it and check their facts.

I thought his over the top Toughness, lack of sympathy, and fanticism was very Nick Fury esque.

From the Assassinnanny 911 capsule:

Hunter Gathers was actually previously mentioned by Jackson when he talked about Ice Station Impossible on his journal. He mentioned that originally he wanted the scene with Race Bannon to be a scene with Brock's old mentor, Hunter Cobb, who was to be a mix of Hunter S. Thompson and Nick Fury. However this had to be cut down due to time limits and Hunter was switched for Race Bannon (oddly enough Brock is at least a partial parody of Race). So here's Hunter's first appearance, only his name was changed to Hunter Gathers, which is of course a pun on hunter-gatherers.

Colonel Hunter Gathers is roughly three parts Hunter S. Thompson (everything from his stature to his cigarette holder) and one part Nick Fury.

Thompson was famous for his style of writing which was coined 'gonzo journalism'. Gonzo journalism isn't really journalism in the classic sense of the word, since it strives more for being entertaining and gritty than accurate and neutral. You can learn a little more about it on Wikipedia if you want.

Nick Fury of course is fictional, but most famous for being the leader of SHIELD, a counter-terrorism agency of the government in the Marvel Comics universe. Fury shares some similar qualities to Thompson, though they both tend to be crazy badasses in their own unique ways. It's also worth note that the uniforms Brock and Hunter are wearing in the beginning of he episode are very similar to the uniforms worn by agents of SHIELD (thanks to Tom Winnicki for mentioning that).

Thanks for pointing that out (I was aware of the Hunter Cobb thing but forgot where to find it) Mellow. Also remember Doc, I said Dean parodied peter in PERSONALITY. the PJ's were actually put in for a totally different reason. Jackson has even said he's a parody of Peter Parker, Buddy Holly, and other happy go-lucky smart kids. I forgot to think about the implication of Sovereign though, so good job on that call.

YEah, it's all good. The quiz seemed a bit vague, wouldn't you guys agree? I mean there wasn't even a clear answer for number eight. I think all of us who have posted comments should get our names in the drawing. Am I right?!?!
