Has anyone else noticed the not so subtle push on the Dean/Triana angle lately? I have to wonder if this is actually going to go somewhere, or if they're just playing Dean's crush for all the comedy that it's worth... (watching him trying to do Lady Windemere's Fan was both hilarious and simultaneously sad)

In a way, though I know it's a total Shark Jumping problem, I hope they actually progress this, as this show has, unlike many of the properties that it parodies, been very much about developing characters in ludicrous situations in logical directions, such as the disintegration of The Monarch's and Dr. Girlfriend's relationship, the death (and resurection) of the Venture brothers, 21's slow burning ambitions of supervilliany, etc. This show obviously isn't afraid of straying from it's own status quo, and it would be interesting to see how they might handle something like Triana finally having to break the news to Dean that she just doesn't like him that way (because if we go with the 'logical reaction' model, there's no other possible scenario).

Actually, come to think of it, this might go well with the Main Arc of this season, which has seemed to be trying to 'grow up' Hank and Dean, seeing as every other episode has been them being forced to deal with ever more 'adult' situations, which has been much more entertaining than season 1 where they mostly just played the dimwitted foil to nearly every other character on the show...

This kind of depth is why I love this show, and it hasn't disappointed me, yet...
