If Dr. Venture is a supreme failure, why do they need Operation Rusty's Blanket? It seems like the cloning machines were built by Jonas Venture Sr. ( they run on punch cards! ). Anyway, why does the government need to protect a colossal failure of scientist? There must be something they want to protect.

Theory: If the idea that Hank is Brock's son/clone is true, that might be why the family needs protecting. The government might think Hank will one day be a skilled killer like his 'father'.

This is a good point...perhaps Jonas Sr. is the REAL president (ass opposed to the fake one referenced by Hunter) and has directed OSI to protect Rusty even after he faked his own death....
Just a thought.
