Okay. Here’s my little rant on the whole cloning thing going on. . .
I honestly believe, in some way, Brock has something to do with Hank. I say this because of all the similarities between them and the bond they seem to have. As for the “mother” Venture remarks on in Mid-Life, let’s say Venture really did use nail clippings to create the boys. He used those for the DNA. Once he had the DNA from them, he could inject it into an egg. . .Perhaps from the woman who is their “mother”. It may have been possible he had two eggs, one as a back up, and that he got the nail clippings from himself and, somehow, Brock’s DNA could have gotten mixed in from one of his own or it was on Venture’s clipped nail. Like a piece of skin or something. Those two interact in ways that it is possible. So, somehow, maybe Brock’s DNA got mixed in, his DNA went to one egg and Venture’s to the other and both boys are “twins” but not in the way we think. Venture and Brock also seem to go to great lengths to keep the whole cloning thing a secret from the boys, so Venture could have been prepared for the question and have something made up to tell them. As for the kidneys, if Brock has the same blood-type as Venture, then it’ll work. A whole host of theories, but that’s one that makes sense to me and I kind of like. It fits with the whole remark Brock made about “his family” getting kidnapped. If my theory is right, then they are, literally.
