If this had just been Brock we were talking about here, yeah, he would have gutted Limb like a fish. But Limb made a very legitimate threat to Brock that if he fell by Brock's hand, not only the Venture's, but everyone Brock's ever known would bite it. Given how thorough, competent, and efficient the 'real' Guild of Calamitous Intent is, that pretty much meant everyone from Steve Summers and Bigfoot to his transvestite boss from the OSI to Molotov Cocktease herself would have been pushing up daisies...

Sure, Brock's an animal, but as we've seen, he's still a human being, and very much has a heart... It's Dr. Venture who's the real cold hearted bastard in this show... lol

Nice point "Bonzo the Fifth;" in the linear timeline we would later see two of those people who Brock loves enough to protect. Namely Molotov Cocktease and Hunter, both of whom we meet in 'Assassinanny911.' Thus further deepening his character, after all, we grasp his passion in that episode within the context of flask-backs. Apparently we see depth in character through his past.
