I've never commented on this board before... kinda assumed it was a longer process...
To be totally honest, I wasn't very impressed with the last 2 episodes. I thought "Escape to the House of the Mummies" was an experiment gone wrong, but I was glad others liked it, and "20 Years to Midnight" just didn't quite click. After the brilliance of the first 3 I was worried VB season 2 was running low on steam. That said: HOLY CRAP! "Victor Echo November" is easily within my top 6 favorite episodes of all time, and I think Publick and Hammer did a fantastic job on the entire thing. I get the feeling they really hit their stride when they go for the Seinfeldy dialogue and situations, where something interesting is happening, but the focus is on how two or three distinct characters react to that event and each other, or just pass the time while others are dealing with it.
It seems at this point you could take any single character or set of two from the show and create an entire spinoff centered around them, because that's just how evolved, interesting, and developed they all are.
This wasn't abundantly clear from many of the episodes in the first season, so I just hope Adult Swim continues to push more people to watch this show, because it is FREAKIN AWESOME. Aug. 12, 2006, 6:59am

Wow... this is right there with Assasinanny... maybe even better... A few minutes into this ep I started thinking that they better be working on the season 2 DVD now, because it needs to come out ASAP when the season ends...
This definately seems like it comes before Assasinanny due to the whole "Scooby Doo kid" thing... on the [as] schedule it is tough to tell the original order, and epguides.com is also confusing...
Hard to pick out just a few things, but a couple of great moments were:
Triana explaining Hank and Dean to her friend (Kim, was it?)...
The multiple stories about Billy and Phantom (along with the end w/ Billy)...
21 and 24 throughout...
Brock in hardcore protect the family mode... Aug. 12, 2006, 7:26am

The multiple versions of the origin of Phantom Limb remind me of an episode of "Batman: The Animated Series" that deals with the way three diffeerent kids each see Batman. One of the versions is based on the old campy Adam West series while another is based on the Frank Miller version from "The Dark Knight Returns".
