David Bowie, 1947 - 2016

I'm sure you've heard the news by now, so there's not a heck of a lot I can say that someone else hasn't said better or more elegantly. I'm still coming to grips with the fact that David Bowie was actually able to die, never mind the impact of such a thing. If you haven't already, I recommend spending some time listening to his music (and yes, even Changesonebowie is acceptable.) People weep when an artist they've never met dies because that artist helped them discover and understand themselves in some way. The world will go on without David Bowie, but it will be a much poorer world. The fact that we all got to be a part of a world with him in it was special.

First the sovereign dies and now the real Bowie has passed.

RIP Thin White Duke.

And it took me all these years to realize that Doc Hammer gets his hair styles from David Bowie. First Eric's hair was blonde and black (representing duality), but now it's completely bleach blonde (representing enlightenment).
Bowie wore his hair just like that too.

Also, I suspect Brock's mullet was subconsciously influenced by David Bowie's mullet... when he had one.

Some folks claim the mullet, like the early character of Brock, was based on Sid Vicious. I don't know much about him so I can't say for myself. It could be a combination of the two.

Well, Brock is based on Doc Savage (and Race Bannon)... but he definitely got the hairdo from somewhere else. He kinda wears his hair like several celebs did in the 80s. The show is so eclectic and dense... I feel everything Eric and Chris love has been rolled into one. Like, it's all combined in this beautiful poetic way that most people can't seem to understand or even begin to see. The little cable show transcends it's medium... it's pure art.

Thank You So Much Jackson and Doc.

Thank You So Much David Bowie.

It's real artists like these that the world needs more of.

Yes, Doc's NATURAL hair color (blonde & black) was based one of Bowie's looks.

He claims constantly that it's totally natural and it has been like that since childhood, especially since he was mocked for it often when he was becoming famous fifteen years ago. But he has also coyly insinuated that it's all a big ruse.
Doc loves to fuck with people. I know he's gotten very serious about it before and claimed it's totally 100% real. But c'mon... It's Doc Hammer.

Show me some of his baby pictures... then I'll believe it.

Yes, he's been faking his vitiligo for decades. You uncovered Doc's lifelong ruse! Great job!

Calm down V brother. I just meant he makes me question it. I know there is a picture of him as a teen with that hairdo. He might just have slight pigment issues and dyes according.

Most people get uneven white spots of hair with the disorder, his is damn uniform.

I just mean that I've heard him talk so much about it... that he obviously enjoys the mystery.

Regardless, he literally has the coolest vitiligo I've ever seen. Because it is usually very splotchy and dying often can't fix the issues with pigment.

I'd be happy as fuck if I had his hairdo! I have alopecia!!!!!

Doc also has Meniere's disease. Which is why he doesn't fly, and I'm quite familiar with that as well.

Look, Doc Hammer is a fucking god... that's my final word.

Don't forget that episode aired almost a year ago (damn, has it been THAT long already? sighhhh.....) and they probably wrote it a year or so before that. But yeah, still.

I'll buy that- the Lincoln Tunnel can get pretty backed up, and with Rusty in Manhattan and the Monarch in NJ, there's not many other ways to go.

Promos look amazing! Everything in them! New characters, animation, voice-work, absurd plot-points, etc. Wow, if glimpses of Season 6 look this good, the season itself must be mind-blowing. I sure hope Season 7 is on the way next!

Yeah, theres even Donald Trump in one scene... and a very Venture gyrosphere... indirectly from Jurassic World.

There are just soo many references and cool things in the new trailer it's insane!

- The former Venture Tower... i.e. Impossible Tower was definitely sold and rebuilt by J.J. Venture into a modernized version
- Fallen Archer... gets on Brock's deadly nerves
- Crab Minions
- Think Tank
- Night Dick!
- White Wail (a splendid parody of Kingpin)
- Reference to the Devil in an elevator urban legend / movie
- Greatly improved animation
- Dr. Mrs. enters into a dark covenant to rebuild the Guild
- Hank is in his M. Jackson phase
- The polar bear from Lost returns
- Billy and Pete are officially contracted
- Dean undeniably possessed
- Brocks triumphant return as their bodyguard
- Big Monarch arc incoming
- Every Venture dance now... from all the blood money
- 'Rustys Back' license plate on their limo
- Don't touch Brock's hair
- The sea captain will be featured heavily
- The Monarch's evil resolve has hit a new height
- Dr. Venture... I come for your soul!!!!!!

Fucking Awesome!

I was just stoked before... just hyped... but now I'm fucking excited!!!

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
