Radiant Is The Blood Of The Baboon Heart: Coming July 21st, Plus A Trailer!

Thanks to the purchase page being up on Amazon we know that the Venture Bros. movie, Radiant Is The Blood Of The Baboon Heart will be out on July 21st digitally and on Blu-Ray (or DVD) on July 25th. The official trailer is embedded below:

Billy seems to get the last word on at least of few of the show's trailers over the years.

I am simultaneously excited, afraid and sad, Excited that the long anticipated movie is almost here. Finally, more Venture Bros.! I am afraid at some of what may go down as seeing as this is it for the series, who knows what moves JP and DH will make? I am sad because this IS the end (presumably) and although I don't want it to continue to the point where the show loses its way I feel that the fellas have done a great job of shaking it up and keeping it fresh where it could have continued for another season or two without going stale. That being said I am counting down to 7/21 like it's Christmas and I'm 8 years-old again.

You summed it up perfectly! It's so exciting but so bittersweet, and also I'm definitely nervous for the characters in this one if it's an ending ending. I'd love for more seasons but I'm also so curious to see what a new show or project from Jackson and Doc would be like.

I am very hopeful that the Venture Bros will not end with the movie and can pull a Futurama revival!

I’m also hopeful the movie will not be close ended, leaving for the possibility of a revival

The bit where Shore Leave shouts at Sheila to "RUUUUNNN!!!" is most likely from the movie The Minority Report. Good flick, by the way.

This trailer has me excited because it shows Jackson and Doc are still at their peak. The Venture Bros. has continually gotten better and has embraced change through every season. This show has stayed fresh over a long run, and that is very hard to do. I hope this isn't the end of the Venture Bros. (maybe we can get another movie in 2027), but I'm thankful for every scrap of Venture Bros. that I have indulged. I hope Jackson and Doc continue their collaboration and I will consume whatever they produce.

Go Team Venture!

Damn, no signs of a DVD release or shirt club.

Some spots:
- No Monarch at the Guild HQ and the new Arch group visits him in his lair with their offer
- Gary is being shot at by Vatred
- Orpheus visits the death realm in search of Hank, judging by the dolls
- Jefferson is fighting vampires in front of the Jim Dandy factory
- judging by the forehead Hebrew letters, Dean is menaced by a laundry Golem

I know- no DVD is a gyp (here's hoping there will be one, as the Blu-Ray's not accepting pre-orders yet).

Still, looks good- a bit too much action focus in the trailer. There's also a MPA rating though so they might have wanted something to actually attach to regular releases, and action sells there. Looking forward to how messed up Doc's Alexa-type device is and Action H.E.L.P.eR.

I did a bunch of pausing on one of my several viewings of the trailer. One of the images in Dr. O's vision is Dean dancing in the devil costume from the Jacket video and the music from the Jacket song is playing over the trailer, so I'm wondering if that is just incidental or not.

The blackulas that JT is fighting go poof when he runs his swords through them yet when we first saw him decapitate a blackula in the subway in Fallen Arches the body didn't go poof. Maybe these guys were just illusions, or Jefferson is now able to channel his newfound magic to help slay them?

Even though we don't see Ben, who is listed in the credits, I'm wondering if that old house where Dean encounters the laundry golem is Ben's house? Maybe that's Ben wrapped in the laundry? Whatever it is it runs right past Dean when he ducks aside so maybe it wasn't after him?

The end credits are supposed to be in the movie too, but they weren't in the trailer either.

No need to get snarky, friend. We don't act that way around here as we are a bit more mature and less toxic on this site. This isn't Discord.

I simply meant that even though we didn't see Ben, who is listed in the credits, Dean was probably looking for him at Ben's dilapidated old house when Dean encounters that whatever it was.

And I prefer to let the creators surprise me with the things they want to surprise me with.

Super-glad to see a release date, but it still annoys me that HELPER cycles his pump-action shotgun backwards.
Yeah, pedantic, I know, sorry everyone. Go Team Venture!

Had a thought: has anyone compared faces on Kim and the ARCH rep yet? Kim's "entering the business" has been a dangling plot thread from seasons ago. Drug companies often use attractive ex-cheerleader types as PR reps. One would imagine a new antagonist start-up would be a good fit for a smart cyber-goth chick with a dislike for Ventures. Thoughts?

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
