Venture Bros. vs. Jay Leno

Friendly reminder for those of you who somehow still haven't seen season four, starting this weekend it will be airing at 11:30pm every Sunday for the next nine weeks (with no episode airing March 7th) which puts into a time slot that maybe is less effort to stay up late for. Either way you are out of excuses for not having seen it yet! The last episode is scheduled to air April 4th, so there's still a considerable gap between that and the tentative August 22nd start date for the second half. No news on how official or set in stone that date is just yet. Enjoy the schedule if you like that sort of thing.

If that date is correct, there's exactly 200 days until new episodes today.

I'm very happy to see Venture Bros. get a better time slot. I still wish they'd replace the 2nd episode of family guy showing Mon.-Thurs. with rolling 30 min. shows (Venture Bros., American Dad, Stroker and Hoop, and Clerks).

Jay Leno doesn't air on Sundays...so the Venture Bros. vs. Jay Leno doesn't make sense. I miss Conan.

Yeah I realized that like 12 hours after I posted it but it seemed too late to change it so I was just kind of hoping nobody would notice. So thanks for ruining that!

10 months is about average for most productions. South Park just has a really fast turnaround due to the software they use and the fact that almost everything happens in one building. Most shows have a place for storyboarding/writing, another for voice recording, then have the bulk of the animation done somewhere else (usually overseas). After they get that back, they check it for animation errors, any of which are sent back for redoing. Then they score and foley the episode, edit it down for time and any content issues before finally being finished.

April Fools! I learned so much on the website. I had no idea mantids were so awesome; although ghost mantis creeps me out. Also was warned that "mantidies are our lords and masters" and "there is no stopping them" and "recommend buying a flame thrower"...this is all good to know ahead of time. Lisa is a prophet!

Lets help Mike keep the notes section of each episode's page as complete as possible. There are lots of references that are not included on those pages; point out what should be added so Mike can add it!
