Introducing The Mantis-Eye Eye

You heard me, pal! Thanks to a fit of boredom last night as well as wondering if there was any way I could update the site with my cell phone. The short and obvious answer is 'yes' but since I don't feel like writing one myself the next closest solution was Twitter which is a silly little site that's essentially built to allow you to make random updates about your mundane life throughout the day via IM or cell phone (or the site itself).

At any rate, as you can see from the mysterious update above (which I made with my GTalk account) it will allow me to make random updates on the go. This isn't a huge necessity, but if I ever need to update the site immediately and can't get to a computer I can punch in a quick headline and it will show. The main reason for this is I may be stopping by Comic-Con tomorrow (maybe) and make random updates about it. The box will display the 20 most recent updates for the last 24 hours and if there aren't any it will disappear. It will also auto-update itself every 2 minutes.

Not entirely useful, but something new I guess. Also if you have any suggestions for other ways to use this thing, be sure to mention them in the comments.

I don't know what tweets are or any of that other stuff, Twitter was just the easiest way for me to have some sort of live updating for this site. All the updates will show up here when I make them, but if you want to follow the actual feed it's right here: http://twitter.com/mantiseye

It's only related to the site though; I don't actually have a personal twitter for anything.

Plenty of "non personal" twitter IDs exist, so that's perfectly normal. People using Twitter who follow you will be alerted whenever you make updates under your mantiseye ID, so that's cool. Bands, sports teams, websites, radio stations...lots of "corporate entities" use Twitter.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
