Jackson and Doc Take San Diego

If you'll be around the San Diego vicinity on July 22nd you may want to see if you can get into Comic-Con at the San Diego Convention Center because Adult Swim will be having a panel there:

5:30-7:00 [adult swim] 2 for 1— That's right. Here's your chance to see new stuff and ask dumb questions. Panel #1: Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro (Aqua Teen Hunger Force), Jim Fortier (Squidbillies), Dino Stamatopoulus (Moral Orel), and Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha (Metalocalypse) will kick off the first half of this year's panel. Panel #2 follows with Seth Green and Matt Senreich (Robot Chicken), Jackson Publick (Venture Brothers), Adam de La Pena, Todd James, and Peter Girardi (Minoriteam), and Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim (Tom Goes to the Mayor). The gang's all here. You should be too. Room 6CDEF

Not only that but according to Doc's MySpace he'll be there as well. So you'll have the chance to both meet and pester the creative minds behind the Venture Bros. Pretty cool stuff. Be sure to ask them why the guest room has windows looking into the Venture compound pool, I hear they love inane questions from crazy fans. Many thanks to Kevin Brown for sending me this info. You can check out the rest of the Saturday programming.if you like. And I promise this is really my last update for the week (not counting the episode discussion post)!

I'd love to hear that panel. I'd like to hear what some of the comments are to the guy from Squidbillies. One of those worthless shows that Adult Swim keeps coming up with, and people keep hating. 12 Ounce Mouse? Perfect Hair Forever? I'd love to ask those Adult Swim guys why they keep putting garbage on the air.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
