The scene where Dr. Orpheus opens his hands to show pictures of his boys comes from the movie Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury.
Did you notice the reference to the Duran Duran video Hungry Like A Wolf in the opening song? It's with the black woman in the jungle.
Didn't what King Gorilla said to the Monarch about never letting Dr. Girlfriend go sound like what she said to him in season one about Hank and Dean?
