Wow, the Monarch was an ass in this one. I thought he wasn't Dr. Girlfriend's boss anymore but her partner? She seems to be walking on eggshells with the 21 thing, and he's back to treating her the way he did before they got married. Their relationship seems to be off to a bad start this season.

I think the Monarch is in for a big life transition this season. With everyone else moving on with their lives, the Monarch is kinda left alone to make an adjustment.

Yeah, she seems to get he's really sad and taking it out on her over losing his ONLY friend, and a henchman to boot; that's why the Monarch realizes Dr Mrs. is all the friend he needs in the last beat.

21 had to lose his best friend, and so did the monarch.. in losing 21, oh the irony.

Agreed and with Captain V Bro as well. This is a whole "faux breakup" where a guy has a break up--this is generally a "Guy Thing" [Tm.--Ed.]--but cannot admit it, does not want to admit it to his friends who politely shift their feet and try not to hurt him further, because they KNOW. "She's away . . ."

Anyways, it will be interesting to see what Gary/21 does with SPHINX.
