I read on cnn.com on Sunday that an attendee was stabbed, and I was thinking "What the hell?". It seems some guy felt another guy was sitting too close to him in a room for a panel and he stabbed him with a pen just below the eye. The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital while the stabber was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and assault with a "deadly weapon". He was described as "wearing a blue Harry Potter shirt". Somehow being sent to the San Diego County Jail lock-up in a Harry Potter shirt doesn't sound like the safest thing to do.

Yeah, that is a thing that happened. A little while later at an Avengers panel Robert Downey Jr. told the crowd to wait until he was done talking before stabbing anyone.
