That doesnt look anything like 21. It looks more like a young Rodney Dangerfield. Man, I am disappointed.

Its impossible for a sculptor to capture the full cartoon style in the peice while keeping the figure attractive, I feel that it is an acurate interpitation though.. It's not perfect but they can't get too much closer..

Sorry but I don't agree that it's impossible to capture a style and keep it attractive at the same time.

Examples from the top of my head... The yellow Submarine Figures, Futurama Figures, Genndy Tartakovsky clone wars Action figures,TMNT action figures from the old ones to the new ones and even the ones that look like the original comicbook versions of the characters. The only trick you need to keep a figure true to the model is talent.

And yeah, that head is not bad but it's also not 21's. That's what I feel.

Any imperfections, and there's bound to be some, I'm chalking up to that whole "being done in the 70's style" thing.

Are they applying the 70's look to the entire figure or just the packaging?

That head also looks like it might be a prototype head, which means it will generally be imperfect in some way because the molds it's made from aren't super high qualify factory ones that get used hundreds of times.
