I don't get all this speculation of the Murderous Moppets going after Dr. Girlfriend and The Monarch or going after the henchmen. If you listen to that entire scene they are obviously wanting to kill The Monarch (they say it). They like Dr. Girlfriend. They hate The Monarch. They have to do it carefully so they don't get the blame or else they will no longer be working for Dr. Girlfriend.

the moppets say:
"leave the gas on, THEY go in THEIR sleep"

obviously talking about more than one person - if dr girlfriend & the monarch are the only ones living in the house obvious they're talking about the henchmen.

not to mention they say "it'll look like an accident... it won't be as much fun ... but then the monarch won't be expecting it when we..."
