Me I Want A Hula Hoop

As promised, this year's Quick Stop Entertainment/Venture Bros. Christmas song is ready to go. This year is a rendition of the Alvin and the Chipmunks classic 'The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)' as sung by Kevin, Tim-Tom and Henchman 21 (with coaching by the Monarch). There's even an album cover (made lovingly by Doc Hammer) for when you stick it on your digital music device! Hooray! The page also has the previous Christmas songs available for streaming or download if you so desire (scroll down for the new one).

Have Yourself A Very Venture Christmas

Since the episode isn't up on AS Video, here's all the clips from that episode with a handy navigation thingy. You'll have to navigate them yourself since Adult Swim's video player isn't exactly developer friendly but it's better than nothing! Happy holiday of your choice!

Win Another Venture Shirt!

This one comes not from Adult Swim but me, though we still love them. It's a Brock baseball tee! Just like the one in the Adult Swim store because that's exactly what it is! As with the other giveaways you have 48 hours to enter and you can't enter past 7pm on the 24th! If you entered a previous giveaway you need to enter again; it's only fair! Enjoy!

Win This Record!

Oh yes, holiday giveaways are still happening! This time you have 48 hours to win the soundtrack on vinyl LP! You know, a big thing that plays music. For those of you without a record player it's still a pretty awesome display item, plus it's free! Head to the contest page to enter, and remember if you entered a previous giveaway you need to enter again.

James Urbaniak Answers Even More Questions

Not to detract from my own interview of course, but James Urbaniak also answered a ton of user submitted questions for an interview on celeb gossip/LJ community site ONTD (which stands for Oh No They Didn't). James answers what may be the toughest questions of his life such as "do you have a favorite word" and "do you like blueberries". Okay, there are some good ones in there, and it's far more hilarious than my interview, so you should check it out.

The Generosity Continues

I told you there'd be a lot of giveaways, but you had no idea how many, did you? You can enter to win the latest prize (another shirt) at the contest page. Remember, you have to re-enter every time there's a new prize. I've got to keep you guys on your toes. This one ends on Thursday at noon eastern time.

Five Years: The James Urbaniak Interview

You didn't think I'd only be writing a lame article and giving away junk for this, did you? No, sir! Today I have a fancy interview with James Urbaniak, voice of Dr. Venture, Phantom Limb and David Bowie (and others) and all-around nice guy. I asked James the difficult questions just for you guys. Super thanks to James for putting up with me as well. Go read it!

We drop a rock on his head. Then we make a secret pact to never speak of this again.

Hey the capsule/notes/etc for The Better Man is up! Sorry it's so late. You guys know the drill.

Pinstripes & Poltergeists Discussion

Well, it's finally here, the season 4.1 finale. Tonight's episode, Pinstripes & Poltergeists will be on shortly for east coast viewers. It's the mid-season finale, which means we won't see any new episodes until the second half of the season starts up sometime in the spring of 2010. Enjoy! As always there will be spoilers in the comments, do don't read them if you're not into that kind of thing.

Update (12/14 at 4:46pm): The episode is up on Adult Swim Video for those interested.

It's A Weekend Holiday Giveaway!

Five years continues with another prize! This one is special because it's actually Venture Bros. related; you can win your very own Monarch t-shirt. Not that one in the Adult Swim store either, but a weird cream colored one with a gold drawing of the Monarch on it. Swanky! Remember, if you entered to win the last prize you need to enter again because everything starts anew!

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
