This episode will be online on Adult Swim Video in a week and a day (9/27) but last week's episode will be up on the site tomorrow. It will probably be on iTunes at some point tomorrow as well.
And finally if you're desiring even more Venture, I have podcast interview with series creators Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer from Friday and you also have until Wednesday to enter to win a Monarch tshirt.
Back when I was trying to come up with some cool stuff for the Five Years thing the most obvious feature was of course an interview with Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer. It's something I've wanted to do on the site for a long time (since the gap between seasons one and two) but I just never got around to or even thought was possible.
I would have settled for a written interview, but thanks to the awesome generosity and kindness of Jackson & Doc we all get to experience those guys answering my weird questions in audio form. Basically everyone wins.
Thanks to Robert and BP in the comments for mentioning this!
And after you watch it feel free to rate it on the episode page.
Also the episode will be up on Adult Swim Video in a week (9/20). However if you can't wait you can purchase it on iTunes for $1.99 or subscribe to all of season four for $24.99.
Speaking of the west coast, I've just returned from a quick, last minute trip to Los Angeles, where I had the pleasure of recording TV's Nathan Fillion for an episode which will air later this season. Despite having a penchant for vaguely sadistic party games, Mr. Fillion was an absolute blast to work with, and it was my pleasure to put myself out of an acting gig by having him replace my uncharismatic scratch track.
We take all of this crap pretty seriously, and go out of our way to explain the boring intricacies of supervillainy, and how these poor guys can exist inside of that world. It's precious! Jackson and I hold every episode like a white-hot danger-baby and put it up for adoption on your TV with the caveat: "Here, take our child. But seriously, be careful. It might set your couch on fire. Super sorry."The interview is somewhat spoiler-heavy so read at your own risk!
