Sneak Peek of "Hostile Makeover"

Hot on the heels of yesterday's extended season six trailer, you can also check out a sneak peek of the first episode of season six, which will be called "Hostile Makeover"

Venture Bros. Season 6 Extended Trailer!

We're a mere eleven days away from the premiere of season six of Venture Bros. so Adult Swim has released an extended trailer for the season. Bask in all its glory!

Season six premieres on Sunday night, January 31st, at midnight!

David Bowie, 1947 - 2016

I'm sure you've heard the news by now, so there's not a heck of a lot I can say that someone else hasn't said better or more elegantly. I'm still coming to grips with the fact that David Bowie was actually able to die, never mind the impact of such a thing. If you haven't already, I recommend spending some time listening to his music (and yes, even Changesonebowie is acceptable.) People weep when an artist they've never met dies because that artist helped them discover and understand themselves in some way. The world will go on without David Bowie, but it will be a much poorer world. The fact that we all got to be a part of a world with him in it was special.

Venture Bros. Season 6 to Premiere on January 31st, Return of Shirt Club

I know two updates in two days might be too much to handle, but here's yet another Christmas present for you all. Straight from Jackson himself, season six of Venture Bros. will premiere on Sunday, January 31st, 2016. That's only a month (plus a week) away!

If that's more than you think you can handle, I have even more news for those of you who enjoy shirts:

And yes, we will be doing another Shirt Club this year. So subscription info will probably go live on astrobasego.com and Titmouse’s store one week before the premiere.

Hope all you Venture-roos have an excellent holiday season, and I'll meet you in New York City in the new year!

Holiday Havok Returns!

Just in time for Christmas, Venture Bros. Holiday Havok is back for 2015! For those who may not remember, from 2004 until 2011 Jackson and Doc recorded an in-character Christmas song and released it on A Site Called Fred (formerly Quik Stop Entertainment). This year the song makes a comeback in the form of Red Mantle and Dragoon signing the Heat Miser/Snow Miser song. Head on over the A Site Called Fred to listen to it, and also have a happy holiday, no matter what you celebrate!

Watch The Venture Bros. Season Six NYCC Trailer

Jackson and Doc showed this trailer as part of their panel at NYCC recently and it's finally been released in all its glory:

Season six starts early next year! For real!

No Venture Bros. Presence At SDCC, But Watch For NYCC

The Venture Home News is reporting word from Jackson that there won't be much Venture Bros. presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year since they will be heads down making the show. However there is promise of much Venture at New York Comic Con this upcoming October, which works out thematically with the show's new direction for season six (you should watch "All This And Gargantua-2" if you haven't yet) as well as being a much quicker trip for Jackson and Doc.

All This And Gargantua Merch, Too

If you're hankering for more Venture Bros. themed apparel, head on over to the Astrobase for the return of Shirt Club. You can pick up two fancy knit caps as well as a hoodie. The hoodie and one of the hats has the new Venture Industries logo as seen in "All This And Gargantua-2" and the other hat has the Astrobase Go! logo embroidered into it. "Lookin' sharp!" is what people will probably say when they see you wearing one or all of these items (especially if you wear both caps at once). Caps are $18 and the hoodie is $48. They're also limited items, so you only have until February 3rd at 1am EST to buy them, then they're gone forever, just like [REDACTED FOR SPOILERS].

Watch "All This And Gargantua-2" Online For Free

Adult Swim has been kind enough to put up the special episode up on their site and it doesn't look like it requires a cable provider login of any sort. So if you couldn't watch it tonight, or want to watch it again, here's a way to do that. The online version also includes the epilogue tacked onto the end, so you won't even need to hunt that down in the aftermath. And don't forget to join in on the discussion here after you watch it!

"All This And Gargantua-2" Discussion

These have been so few and far between that I forgot to post it! Check out the latest extra-special episode of Venture Bros., "All This and Gargantua-2". It's an hour long and stuff. While you're watching, or after it's over, if you prefer, head over to the comments here to discuss the episode. There will probably be spoilers, so be wary of that if you haven't seen the episode yet. Enjoy!

Also after you watch the episode, Adult Swim has put up a five minute epilogue that also contains a brief glimpse of season six. Again, watch the episode before you watch the epilogue, but you should totally watch the epilogue.

The Venture Bros. Panel from NYCC 2016 is archived on Twitch at the mail channel. Some minor spoilers to follow... Orpheus and Dermott have both been written in to Season 7, though the latter in small doses. They are finishing working on the scripts and they hope to start production in the next month or two. They have said this before but the first episode of Season 7 will act as a finale to Season 6. (Much like how the Gargantua-2 special ended Season 5 on a proper note). They are very conscious that the past two seasons have not had a proper finale and they are trying to fix that in Season 7. While they have not been renewed for a Season 8, they HAVE NOT been cancelled. In fact, they said they are specifically not writing Season 7 as if it were the last one. Finally, The Art of the Venture Bros. is still a go! It has expanded into a much bigger book than they imagined and Ken Plume has been doing the work on it. It has material from all six seasons, and it sounds like an in-depth interview that spans the entire book. Release date and information still to come.
