Even More Comic-Con Madness

For those of you attending SDCC this year, you already know about the Venture Bros. panel with Jackson and Doc, of course, but did you know they'll also be autographing things at the Adult Swim booth on Saturday? Check out Adult Swim's kind of creepy SDCC page for more info on non-Venture stuff, but the deets you want are Saturday, July 26th from 12pm until 1pm at the Adult Swim booth, #3721. Also make sure you get your butt to the Adult Swim booth sometime earlier in the day (the earlier the better) to pick up tickets for the signing, because you'll need one to get an autograph.

Additionally Entertainment Earth has a couple of convention exclusive Venture Bros. items that you can purchase at their booth (booth #2343):

  • Bloody Black Shirt Brock 3 3/4" action figure - $14.99 - A variation on the many Brock figures that BifBangPow! has produced. This one has a black shirt and battle damage.

  • Set of 6 Character Shot Glasses - $26.99 - Shot glasses with some of your favorites: Hank, Dean, Brock, Dr. Venture, The Monarch and Classic Dr. Girlfriend. If you have friends who love the show and also getting drunk, then this is for you. Or maybe you only want to drink a couple ounces of water at a time, I don't know.

Both of these can be purchased at the convention but will also be available through the regular site (while they last) in August. Just in case you can't get to SDCC but want to pretend that you did. Entertainment Earth also usually has a signing with Jackson and Doc, though none has been announced yet, but keep an eye out for an additional chance to get them to write on your stuff.

There's two more exclusive 8-inch Venture mego figures coming to SDCC.

Try and guess who?!

Hint: Both new figures... are characters that "live" with the Venture's at the compound.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
