Watch The Venture Bros. Season Six NYCC Trailer

Jackson and Doc showed this trailer as part of their panel at NYCC recently and it's finally been released in all its glory:

Season six starts early next year! For real!

At 1:13...I was staying in NYC in 2012 seeing the church I had a dream of this EXACT thing while at a midtown hotel...freaky. King of Mice.

- Shore Leave dressed as Brock.

- Cross dressing Captain America beats back Brock.

- Radical Left, Dr. Z, Red & Dragoon, among others like F.D.D. gather to hear Dr. Mrs. the Monarch talk about rebuilding the Guild.

- When the doorman is grabbing Rusty... his right arm is drawn too small.

- Jonas Jr. will keep reappearing as a hologram at the new Venture headquarters.

- Dean lifts Brock one handed.

- Brick Frog is back... pretty much... every villian not dead is back.

- Hank's look constantly changes and refrences various famous people.

- More with the original team Venture and Rose.

- Truckosaurs.

- Plenty of Pete White and Billy.

More Spoilery Observations:

- Classic Brock outfit gets updated with white stripes.

- The computer screen... Venture Techno Industries: Deep Earth Mining Mecha.

- Hunter secretly meets with Dr. Mrs. the Monarch.

- Giant robotic spider.

- New villain is shown, White Wail I assume.

- Hank's on a motorcycle with a parody of... the Spirit? Or it's probably some waaay more obscure hero that Jackson likes that I haven't heard of?

- New reptilian/amphibian themed villian is shown briefly.

- The skinless horseman is actually pretty badass.

- The sea captain in back, crazier than ever.

- The Monarch and Gary meet some mysterious female... with red hair!?

Happy Back to the Future (Part 2) day everyone, we all lived to see the future!!!

I was thinking the scene was from Aladdin. The Butter flyer from season 4 riffed on Aladdin's "whole new world."

- The Monarch and Gary were dressed as Strangers. ~ So the question is, is that their new role in The Guild or were they in disguise for some reason?

- New reptilian/amphibian themed villain. ~ A new Crime-O-Dile perhaps?

- Cross dressing Captain America beats back Brock ~ Someone on YouTube suggested his name might be Stars and Garters (or similar) as there's an old expression "Oh my stars and garters" as an expression of surprise or shock. Sounds plausible as the fella had some garters as part of his costume. Maybe the O.S.I. just doesn't know when to quit with the super soldier serum?

- We get to see Stormfront in his full costume instead of just his skivvies.

And in the same scene where Brock is going at it with the cross dressing Cap you can see a Hawk Eye look-a-like in the far bottom left of the screen, looking defeated.

It almost looks like ALL the characters... dress as other characters in one episode this season.

1:20 - Hunter dressed as Doc to the left of Brock and those are obviously grown men (OSI guys likely) posing as the boys to his right.

Those are not OSI guys, it's Watch and Ward. The Guild Resistance survived!

Yeah, someone pointed that out to me on YouTube which explains why the faces are messed up. I guess that ties in with Hunter and Sheila meeting on that bench. Must be a joint operation to protect Doc and the boys.

To clarify... I just mean in terms of renewal by Adult Swim.
They've been cancelling long-running shows left and right lately.
Jackson and Doc said they'll keep making it as long as renewals happen... basically.

I wonder if AS won't order a season 7 if JP and Doc would consider a move to another network such as Comedy Central or FX?

It's owned by Time Warner... it's very doubtful anything like that would or could ever happen if Lazzo cancelled the Venture Bros.

Adult Swim just needs to have enough respect for the property to end it properly.
I'm fine with the show ending as long as it gets it's proper final episode.
That... and every new season keeps getting released on Blu-ray.

So, I basically just want a proper ending and for it all to be on Blu-ray.

That's not too much to ask... is it?

I'm sure Adult Swim would at least give them a proper finale.
*Looks at the Metalocalypse situation of Small requesting a finale, mini-series, or final season and being denied by Mike Lazzo.*
We're dooooommed!!!!!

Jackson and Doc both seem to want to continue the story with a 7th season, if you watch their recent convention panels. I hope the demand remains high for this high quality show! Other great shows ended way before their time due to being little more than a niche fanbase (I'm looking at you Arrest Development). So...get the word out! We need more disciples for Team Venture!

I just mean look at the number of views the trailer has.... very low.

If it was Rick and Morty or whatever it'd already have one million views.

I think the show has become to niche and Mike Lazzo will cancel the series.

Probably.

Yeah. Think about it. The show has been around since 2003 and we're still waiting on season six. Quality over quantity I guess. It makes it hard for the casual viewers to get into.

I missed it when the AS drive in was in town but I am wondering if anyone went to their cities and if they showed some new VB episodes...?

And for the longest time, well since SG, I thought it would be uber-hot to have Dean get into Euro cRack Modular synthesis to go against SG.

"It's just noise Deano!!"

"Hank, it's called Music Concrete!!"

"uh it just sounds like farts, expensive farts!"

"Shut-up Dermott!!"

But then I realized it was just my subconscience telling me to get into Euro cRack...!

To elaborate.. here's why I'm worried about the Venture Bros. future. Look at the complete list of shows 'officially' cancelled by Adult Swim in 2014/2015. Some of these shows regularly scored highly ratings than Venture Bros. and are done forever.

* Aqua Teen
* Black Dynamite
* The Boondocks (creator left, launched Black Jesus)
* China, IL (creator making "TV Sucks")
* Eagleheart
* The Heart, She Holler
* The Jack and Triumph Show
* Loiter Squad
* Metalocalypse (creator just wants a proper finale)
* NTSF:SD:SUV:
* Superjail! (creator in denial)

Holy Crapola! I didn't realize how much restructuring is actually happening at [AS] in general. Most of those shows are rightly canned.. but dang, that's a bunch of original content cancelled.

I highly suggest everyone buy Venture Bros. Blu-rays/DVDs for their extended family members this year. Show Warner Bros. and [Adult Swim] we still care.

Gents,
I think we need to accept this is the end of the road. There may be a comic or some other format, but I believe they are done. Other than a career destroying personal love, I can't see a network exec saying yes to another 2-3 year wait. There is just no way to market that. 18-25 year olds grow up and out
They have been brilliant and burned very brightly. I can't wait to see what they have in store. I hope they go out well.
Go Team Venture

I think it could really go either way.

If Venture Bros. Blu-ray sales are high this Christmas and the new season gets good ratings in 2016, I think we could actually see one or two more seasons get made.

It'll be really interesting to see what happens regardless...

Here's to seven seasons and a movie!!

Amazon has Venture Bros. Blu-rays on sale for really good prices.

I highly recommended everyone buy them for the holiday season if they want to see season six get a physical release. Because it's nice to have special features, commentaries, and for it to be properly uncensored.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
