Venture Bros. Special: July 24th

It's been kicking around recently but Bump Worthy finally put the bump in question up. AS announced that the Venture Bros. special will air on July 24th:

Coincidentally we know that an 11-minute short was part of the renewal contract and Jackson revealed here that he's "currently involved in producing an 11 minute little something-something in-house [at Titmouse]" and (in the same interview) that they'll "unveil a special little project we've been quietly working on for Comic-Con". Also Comic-Con just happens to take place July 21 through July 24th. So there's that perhaps? Either way, July 24th!

10 months is about average for most productions. South Park just has a really fast turnaround due to the software they use and the fact that almost everything happens in one building. Most shows have a place for storyboarding/writing, another for voice recording, then have the bulk of the animation done somewhere else (usually overseas). After they get that back, they check it for animation errors, any of which are sent back for redoing. Then they score and foley the episode, edit it down for time and any content issues before finally being finished.

April Fools! I learned so much on the website. I had no idea mantids were so awesome; although ghost mantis creeps me out. Also was warned that "mantidies are our lords and masters" and "there is no stopping them" and "recommend buying a flame thrower"...this is all good to know ahead of time. Lisa is a prophet!

Lets help Mike keep the notes section of each episode's page as complete as possible. There are lots of references that are not included on those pages; point out what should be added so Mike can add it!
