Tune In Sundays at 10pm

For the foreseeable future The Venture Bros. is moving to 10pm! We start things off with a weekly helping of Jackson's favorite episodes, which includes season one's now classic "Ghosts of the Sargasso" (which is on tonight) and season two's exceptional "Victor. Echo. November.". The Christmas special will also be in there somewhere and two more favorites (one for season three and four) and then the show will start from the beginning with season one airing in order starting in January.

Aw, how the show's grown.

Look at Mol's giraffe neck up there! It's like Fear and Loathing! Enough cannot be said for how good The Venture Bros. looks these days.

I kinda like the Season 1 designs. I admit they're not as clean as the current ones but there's something nice about that slightly exaggerated shaping.

Except for Dr. O- that was a necessary change as far as I'm concerned.

Oh yeah, the designs are just part of the good sandwich and watching season 1 all over again is nice to reminisce about VB's roots (who knew I would miss Brock's blind rage mass killings so much). It's just interesting to see how much it's advanced every season, especially considering I still doubt that they're working with a very large budget. To be fair, probably more than they started out on, but still.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
