Who Would Win? Round Three

Yup, it's still going! Round two is over and it was actually pretty lopsided. The Monarch/Dr. Girlfriend, Bowie, Henchmen 21 & 24, Phantom Limb and Killinger all had easy victories. Sgt. Hatred had a decisive but not as commanding win over Henchman 1/Zero/Scott Hall and Torrid managed to squeak by Kevin and Tim-Tom by over 50 votes for an upset. The closest match was Monstroso vs. Truckulese with the big rig managing to jackknife his way to victory by a slim 11 votes.

Round three features some tough battles, including what is sure to be an epic battle between The Monarch and Dr. Mrs. and David Bowie as well as Phantom Limb vs. Henry Killinger. Remember, one vote per hour is allowed for the next three days! Go!

Man, I don't know how but 21 and 24 are beating torrid. Hmmm... Makes sense I guess.
I love how Hatred's still playing. I know he will lose to Phantom Limb or Killinger but he sure is fighting a good fight for now! We all know who's going to win this thing. Right?

21 & 24 make sense, they are way more popular than Torrid (who is pretty bland really). I'm more surprised Killinger is winning over Phantom Limb!

Sgt. Hatred has been a sleeper too, though he has had easy competition so far but I still have faith in that lovable bastard.

Yeah, Killinger vs. Phantom Limb surprised me too. I know Killinger is really powerful but I don't wanna see a fight between him and The Sovereign. Now that I think about it, I wanna see that. They are both really strong!

I was actually surprised Truckules beat out Monstroso. He's a villain and a lawyer, and that's tough to beat, even with a truck for a body and Greco-Roman mythology behind you.

Ventureverse works on the unobvious:

Go forth in your invasion of sissy name callers, alien souls, trampling skirt-swishers, balloon chatterers, creatures with metal instead of brains. Come to me and use your words to insult and perchance fight! The loser wins in this cartoon series.

Some of these episodes end up like the writings of Wodehouse or Jack Vance. Lots of bluff and usual failure-humor after the hint of a chase down fight.

For the record, however this pans out, Hatred would totally beat Truckules in a fight.

Truckules may be a truck, but Hatred is a TANK.

I dunno I think that depends, are we talking hand-to-hand here? Because I think Truckulese has a pretty significant size advantage over Hatred. If you give Hatred some weapons it might be a different story though.

Nip slip! Pretty hot!

Truckules; now that you know he has roller feet and is just a pile of metal painted with manparts (?) he could probably resist Hatred grenades and bullets, much less the out of shape blubbering hug hand-punches to the gut. C'mon!
You start talking about some kind of scene from South Pacific and he would drop whatever defense he had and start crying. I know a family of Hatred types, they all milked each others emotions and were the worst drunks I've ever met. You could set them off with a sentence into the dimension of dummies, they must love it there. Comforting each other with madness.

Anything goes I guess. Either way this isn't really any sort of scientific thing. You can vote for who you actually think will win or you can just vote for your favorites even if they are woefully underpowered. I spent all of the last round voting for Mr. Monday :(

I hope you plan on doing one for the 'heroes' as well. I'm interested in that Jefferson Twilight/Jonas Jr match up. And Ned v Captain Sunshine.

Not sure that you could put Brock in though as he would win hands down

That'd be cool. I'm not 100% sure Brock would win hand down though...there are several that would give him a run for his money.

If it is done....can the bracket at least be done the standard American way? The seedings were all screwy in the villain one...must have been some European bracket format.

@imp Dude, he melted three union bosses by opening a magic bag at them. Phantom Limb, as bad ass as he can be in his own element, is mostly known for being a humorless dick who sewed two guys together, felt Queen Etherea up on the sly and doesn't like people laughing at his hair. Against anyone else, he could hold his own, but Killinger is a whole different level of villainy.

It goes beyond melting, dude. He exiled them into non-existence a la the Adam West Batman movie. Killenger may be of demi-god proportions.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
