Calamitous Intent Podcast, Episode 3

This is a new animation-centric podcast which currently doesn't have a home (soon to be remedied) but for now you can catch it at host Carter Dotson's site every Friday. The show revolves around The Venture Bros. for now so as such Carter asked me if I'd like to come on and so we have episode three. So if you want roughly 45 minutes of rambling and dorking out about mostly "Pomp & Circuitry" but also various other episodes, my interview with Jackson and Doc, Batman (and Batmen), Spider-Man and upcoming Metalocalypse episodes (just to keep it not entirely VB-centric) then you ought to listen. Have fun!

Addon crashed about 8 min. through....and apparently there is no way to fast forward? Lame. If that gets fixed, maybe I'll listen to the rest.

Thanks for this, I really enjoyed it, and it made what was turning out to be a boring day not so boring. Um..also I wonder if the metal husks that encased phantom limbs arms also turned invisible and fused with his actual arms. So he kinda controls the husks with his mind and that could also be how there are able to reattach?

That was nice. I actually learned a lot, particularly about the site. I actually have a theory as to why the Monarch hates Dr. Venture. Remember in Past Tense, where Dr. Venture said he was in a Creative Writing class with the Monarch? I think Dr. Venture made fun of the Monarch's poetry and that's what set him off.

Excellent and fun podcasts! So fun that when they argued about where "holy ground" came from--"St. Sebastians' . . . that's Catholic, right?" I am screaming "HIGHLANDER" so loudly that parents tell their children to look away.

Does anyone else think the Monarch's hatred for Dr. Venture is starting to wain? Like he needed the Butter-Glider to just reignite that fire.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
