For the next couple of days I'll be posting any galleries and photos of the new Venture toys that find their way to me. So if you have any feel free to stick them in the comments and I'll add them.

Yeah they look weird and all but thats not what truly bothers.

What I find disturbing is that there is no goddamn Hank.

Judging by how the other characters turned out, maybe that's a good thing...

Yeah, but leaving out a titular character is a pretty big sin of omission. Also notably absent: Dr. Girlfriend.

Never fear, Hank was mentioned in the press release, and Dr. Girlfriend in another press release.

21 needs more chunky while 24 needs less... but then again these aren't finished products!

21's neck is far too long (he probably shouldn't have one at all), where as 24 needs one period. Weird how they got a detail like that backwards.

It's interesting to see they're also doing the Lost figures in the same style.

Please remove that season 4 countdown until like late June-ish. 184 days? That's just too depressing to look at or think about!

Yeah I might. I actually had to rewrite the code to support more than 99 days. I put it up and it briefly said 18 days and I was like "uhh that seems way too short" until I realized that it was only displaying the first two digits of 186. That was slightly depressing.

If these figures turn out the way the prototypes look, I'll end up passing on them. They're just too damn ugly. It's such a shame, I've been looking forward to something like this for some time. Sure, they're not supposedly the final product, but I can't imagine their designs to be too far away from these. Meh.

My hope is they will not have a bunch of bulky packaging around each figure. If I buy these I want a figure and not a bunch of extra artwork that will just end up in the trash. If they do have a useless box I will likely wait until I can find an open set on Ebay or somewhere else If they are carded like the old Mego figures typically were that would be a better choice for me.

I vote we change the subject. Things in the ventureverse are far too depressing to focus on at the moment. 183 days until new episodes, a few crappy prototypes (though I don't dislike them all), sparse updates from Mr. Publick... lets discuss what we are all really here to discuss. How much we love Sgt. Hatred!! Ready... GO!

I put my Hatred patch on a green messenger bag, it looks pretty legit. And I put my Monarch and Venture Industries patches on a Dermott-like jacket.

I really dig the joke they're going for, and I think the toys are cute as fuck, which is really what I wanted. Every other product they've put out has looked bizarre and antiquated, so why shouldn't the toys? The Doc and Dean sculpts are particularly great, and look like awesome toys. Can't wait for Sgt. Hatred!

I think the joke backfires bigtime on Brock, though. The way the caricatured him has little to do with the character and everything to do with the joke. Not that my opinion is worth anything in particular, but it needs way more chest and far less chin.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
