Final Season 4.1 Episode Title Detective'd

Astute reader Eric Araclides has pointed out to me that with some clever messing with Adult Swim's Venture Bros. episode guide you can uncover things not yet linked by changing URLs. For example here's the link to the upcoming Revenge Society, which is not yet in the main episode guide listing. So it goes to follow that you can check for the final episode based on the production number to find out that it will be called Ghosts (though that could also be a tentative title). Thanks Eric!

If you mess around with the numbers a bit you might just also come across this:

Episode 45: Self-Medication

Dr. Venture’s therapy group, a collection of former Boy Adventurers (who have become failed adults), quickly fall back into their old habits when a mystery is literally dropped into their session. Meanwhile, Sgt. Hatred tries to overcome his own past when he’s stuck in a movie theater crammed with kids. History is doomed to keep repeating itself if Hatred and Dr. Venture can’t break their cycles.

Sounds awesome. My guess is that this is where the Astroboy lookalike comes in, probably a member of the therapy group.

I might also go ahead and guess that Hatred is taking Dean to Giant Boy Detective The Movie.

Well, we know Action Jonny's coming back for that. I think that was also the one Hodgman's character is in. So lots to look forward to for next week.

In addition to The Revenge Society tonight.

btw, from Hodeman's interview in Mediaite the other day (which can be found here: http://www.mediaite.com/columnists/john-hodgman-5qq-plus-video/):

Q: Battlestar Galactica or Venture Bros?

A: You are cruel to make me make such a choice. Our culture requires both, as they are both works of genius. Only because Venture Bros. continues to produce new material, and has so far not been on the cover of TV Guide, I will say GO TEAM VENTURE. Listen for me as Dale Hale in an upcoming episode.

Jackson's latest journal update explicitly says that Capt Sunshine is not a pedophile.

The original Wonderboy was his son, and he's seeking to replace him in his life through a series of surrogates. I AM SURE OF IT NOW.

I assume Action Johnny is back in the next episode. Pollock posted an image from this some time back. "The better man" will possibly show us Dr Orphius and his x wife.

Ghosts intrigues me. Between the Action man story of "the revenge society" and an episode centered around self help, I think Rusty is going to be digging deep. Perhaps we will find out how dear old dad dear old died

Me and my wife were thinking just that. It's gotta be about Jonas. It would be so cool!

I think Ghosts is another 21 episode. It seems like they were going to get back to that some time this half. Jonas Sr. looks to have become a dead end at this point.

I hope Ghosts has an appearance by "Ghost Robot". If ever there was a throw away character that cries out for expansion it is "Ghost Robot".

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
