It's priceless to see Jackson and Doc try to keep a straight face as they field the "What about Hank and Dean's Mom?" question. Myra is their Mom. They already made that episode. WTF?

Than why did Dr. Henry Killinger attempt to reunify Dr. Venture + Hank + Dean with Myra, using his Oni as the means to?

He used the ONI to reunite Dr. Venture and Myra. Not the family as a collective. However this doesn't change the fact that Myra is their mother. Just because you don't like Myra doesn't mean she's not the character she seems to be.

No, no, no. You can't prove that. Doc and Jackson have been evading that for a while. Even this time, they said, (paraphrasing) "If we get interested in answerimg it, we'l answer it."

I didn't get that vibe at all from "Caged Bird". The tone of the conversation in the car at the end made it pretty obvious that the maternity question was being left entirely open. Dr. K. trying to reignite the fires between Doc and Myra probably has nothing to do with Doc's children.

The guy who asked the last question on the highlights "Is Orpheus bring 24 Back?" was sitting next to me for the entire panel and even asked me that question before he went up there.

He was insistent that Dr Orpheus would care enough to bring 24 back from the dead... some people just need to let go.

Open suggestion to fans at conventions: please, please, if you can't do the voice, don't ask questions in-character. 24 at ComicCon was kinda funny, White and Molotov here make me cringe a bit.

Doc seemed really exasperated by the stupider questions.

Wow, I didn't even realize that one of the people was using a Pete White voice. That doesn't bode well for them. (The Molotov voice was good, I thought! It's just that she seemed to keep pausing for breath or something which made it overly obvious that it wasn't natural.)

Interesting fact: My girlfriend is the first person either Doc or Jackson ever saw dressed as Pete. True story.

Overall I wasn't hugely impressed with the pilot, but it definitely has potential. I'll check out a few more episodes when they air. I really do like David Wain in the main role though.

I really don't know. I think the guy with the ring, yeah, and I thought the Lettuce sounded a bit like an even-squeakier Tim-Tom (or is it Kevin?)

The pilot wasn't the best, but I like the Willy Wonka Prison idea, and the animation was the best I've seen in a production for television in a long time.

From JP's LJ:
I honestly can't remember which voices I did in the pilot, other than one effeminate inmate who comes back a few times over the course of the season, as do I. Most of the characters speak in grunts or single lines of dialogue.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
