My first impression is that season 6 should have ended one episode earlier.

I'd say two episodes later- one to figure out the last guy between Monarch and Dr. Venture (either Wale or the last guy he subcontracted arching rights to) and one to finally deal with all the fallout of these deaths and Dr. Mrs.'s stuff/all the other relationship stuff.
