Where is all the outrage that Dr. Venture has died?!?!? When 24 died we went on for pages and pages about how sad we are that he's gone....Dr. Venture is much more important than 24! He's the glue that keeps it all together while being a complete d!#% of a character at the same time (while trying to be a good father). Mourn his loss! We need Dr. Venture (and more Phantom Limb)!!!

WHAT! Dr. Venture is a visionary capable of all kinds of scientific abominations, cynical behavior, passive parenting, and narcissistic attitude. A low-level super-scientist who has seen everything during his childhood, nothing surprises/impresses this man. He is capable of being the greatest inventor of our time if he saw the need to apply himself (and he'll tell you that too), dabbling in super-science is much more enjoyable. He enjoys his life because he's seen what working to death can do to a super-scientist. Dr. Venture knows that anyone who doesn't live their life the way they want to is an idiot. We all yearn to be Dr. Venture because he's "The Dude" in all of us. We already have a little Dr. Venture in us and seeing him live his life lets us vicariously live through him. Thank you Dr. Venture. I will forever miss you.

Those glitter balls, also called Disco balls, are basically hollow, just a thin shell. Not that you still couldn't get killed by one striking you on the head mind you, but not crushed. Doc will be back. Or as a coworker of mine speculated, this is where we find out Rusty is a clone. As a kid he got dragged along on all sorts of dangerous adventures. Maybe Jonas did with Rusty as Doc did with the boys?

24 was just expendable enough for them to kill forever. Dr. Venture's way too important to stay dead. Nobody expects him to be totally out for long.

I'm assuming he didn't die.. Watch the season 5 preview, you see him in bandages and we have yet to see that scene... Unless it's a flashback

The bandaged.Doc is in the same clothes he was wearing last episode, so it's pretty clear he lived. I expect we'll find out that he's alive early in the next episode, but the other characters won't.
