It was okay. I'm as die-hard a Venture fan as I am, but Doc and Jackson are a little too in love with their characters, and not with a forward thrusting plot. As much fun as it was to be back in the Venure-verse... nothing really happened in this episode. The jokes were solid, but meandering episodes like this tend to be my least favorie (IE Revenge Society).

As far as a special goes, it isn't supposed to be plot forwarding. It's a.. well it's special.

I don't even mean the overall plot... just, any plot. One doesn't bring in undead OSI and Monarch henchman if you're not going to fully utilize them.
