Brock's been hit with tranquilizer darts multiple times with no effect, so I figure she's covering her bases in case Brock's still awake.

good thinkin, I've heard speculation that they weren't really black hearts and it was a ruse not to check if Mol had died in the accident. I guess I gotta hear it from the horses' mouth but damn what a good show

From what I gather, they actually were Blackhearts. Rick Lacy called them that in his latest blog post and Jackson called them Blackhearts in the discussion thread for his latest post. Still, no official confirmation so take that with a grain of salt. And even if they really were Blackhearts, it still could've been a ruse to distract Brock.
