Right, but sticking with the 'two moms/brother-from-another-mother' theory...

..Dermott & Hank are the more athletic/goonish type, where as Dean is bookish - perfect reflections of their true mothers. And where Doc is genuinely freaked out by Myra, he obviously had some affection for the fan club president...which might contribute to why he favors Dean.

Yeah, but she recognizes Dean. She may be crazy but I think she'd know if one of her childen went from having dirty blonde hair to having reddish brown hair.
