Wallpaper: The Movie

Okay, not really a movie, but this is the decidedly free portion where I give you folks some content which I honestly put very little effort into. You may have noticed the bevy of awesome background Jackson posted on his LJ recently. Well, indeed they make awesome wallpapers! Thusly, I have selected six backgrounds and resized/cropped them to various popular desktop resolutions for your enjoyment. I'll hopefully be posting a set of these every day or two (it makes it seem like I have more to post). And of course the awesome artwork is drawn by the awesome Venture Bros. background artists.

So for today we have an amazingly awesome shot of the grand canyon with the crashed Cocoon:

To use them click a link and when the image loads right-click it and select the 'set as desktop' option. Enjoy! If your resolution isn't here try the closest one. Also if you happen to know (or be) the actual artist who made this (or future) backgrounds, let me know so I can post it!

Do you guys know if Jackson or Doc are in the WGA. Ohh wait, it won't matter because they've already written season 3.

I just heard Kevin Smith on the radio the other day, and in talking about the writers strike he had said that writers of animation are not allowed in the Guild. So I guess some of our favorite shows will not be stopping soon.

yeah Jackson commented on it somewhere in the depths of his blog saying that while he is a member of the WGA, the show is not under any sort of WGA contract (or whatever goes into having something associated with the WGA) so it won't affect anything.

Where Da hell are the goddamn backgrounds at on Jackson's site???? I go there and nothing pops up except for the old news. Am I doing something wrong??? If I can't view them can someone tell me what they look like???? P.S. Thanks for taking my suggestion Mike. It took you long enough. I voted for Phantom Limb but it looks like The Monarch is going to win just like I knew he would.....................

I had the same problem; I can't find the backgrounds anywhere.
Watchout in the comments of that old news, Jackson gives a link to a site that nobody should have to see.

if you click on one of the images on his site it takes you to a gallery view and there's a link in the upper right that says 'up to gallery' or something that lets you browse all of them. lots of good stuff in there.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
