The Mantis-Eye 2010 Holiday Gift Guide:

Venture Bros. Art & Prints

Prints are more of a thing for the slightly more hardcore Venture fan. One willing to show their love for the show by adorning their wall with stuff directly related to the show. Sadly prints often sell out quickly but there are a couple currently in stock at Adult Swim's store that one might enjoy.

The first one is the much coveted work of comic artist Bill Sienkiewicz that adorned the inside of the season one DVD. At $24 it's really affordable and fills in an empty 30" by 11" space quite nicely (if you want to see a nice quality image of it, check out this page). Any Venture fan is sure to get a kick out of it, doubly if they are also Sienkiewicz fans. The second one is super pricey two-foot square canvas print of various logos in the show laid out in the shape of a skull. It's a cool thing to have, but at $200 it might be out of your price range.

Venture Bros. Accessories

These are just a few random items that don't fit into a specific category but a gift recipiant may just enjoy them all the same.

First we have the Magic Murder Bag, which is sure to please, uh, people who need a bag. It's actually not modeled after Killinger's bag at all; it's just a regular travel bag, but it's well made and has an awesome Killinger logo on it, so everyone will know that you might just have some magic in there. At fifty bucks it's a bit pricey but that special someone might just be worth it, yes? Second is more of a stocking stuffer, but everyone needs magnets, right? Also good if you want a portion of the Bill Sienkiewicz but want to save nine dollars.

Venture Bros. Bobble Heads

Now we're onto what should be the most obvious gifts of all for fans of the show: toys! We'll start with BifBangPow!'s line of awesome bobble heads. The cheapest place to get them seems to be Entertainment Earth, which I've ordered from a few times before and they're a pretty awesome store. The bobble heads themselves are nicely constructed and pretty cool if you want something for your desk but aren't quite sure about action figures.

Venture Bros. Dollies Action Figures

And finally we have the ol' 'controversial' Mego-style action figures. I say controversial only because everyone was expecting more statue-like figures and instead we were graced with these. Personally I like them, and I think they fit in well with the general theme of the show, but your mileage may vary.
